Partner visa 801 second stage checklist

We start assessing you for the permanent visa two years after you lodged your visa application. You can attach the documents up to one month before the two years date. Do not attach them before this time. Complete Stage - Permanent Partner Visa Assessment (10 8) in ImmiAccount. Attach your documents in ImmiAccount.


Once I noticed this I brought up my PDF copy of the original application and copy and pasted the unchanged relevant information into the fields.

Approximately two years after applying for your 8temporary visa, you will be assessed by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection against the criteria for a subclass 8visa. The 8visa checklist of criteria includes proving that you are continuing to live in your relationship with your spouse or de facto partner. What is the processing time for a 8partner visa? When can I apply for a permanent 8partner visa? Firstly, when you lodged your partner visa application, you were in essence lodging two applications in one: the temporary partner visa for your lovely partner to stay in Australia and the permanent partner visa which will then make your partner a permanent resident.


Applying for the partner visa was like taking on a second job. I just submitted my Aussie citizenship application last week, and it is (mostly) easier, except for the part where they make you list EVERY TRIP you have taken since the age of 18. Life tends to just get on with itself, and two years seemed to speed past with us moving house, changing jobs, making big decisions and generally just living our lives.

The 2nd Stage of the Partner Visa (1or 801) is, in many ways, very similar to the first stage (3or 820). You can apply for the Second Stage Partner Visa ( 8or 100) at about months after the first stage (8or 309) was applied for.


Note: That is months after it was applied for, not after it was granted. This becomes the eligibility date for the 8or 1Permanent application. When you apply for a partner visa you are actually applying for two separate partner visas: the temporary partner visa (subclass 8or 309) and. Two years from the date you apply for the partner visas you are considered for grant of the permanent partner visa.


Even then we still thought we’d wait about a year for approval, but boy were our numbers off. This blog really made its mark after I wrote a blog post about how I applied for the 8defacto visa to Australia. It was exactly years after I first applied for the partner visa that I was eligible for 2nd stage assessment. If you’re struggling with your evidence, just know that you’re not alone!

The 8Visa is the permanent stage of the partner Visa and is applied for at the same time as you lodge the 8onshore provisional partner Visa. The 8is normally applied for years after the 8is lodge But in some circumstances you can be eligible earlier. If you have already been granted a Partner (temporary) visa (subclass 820), the department will send you a checklist when you are eligible to be considered for the Partner (permanent) visa (subclass 8). If you meet the criteria you will initially be granted a Temporary Partner visa (Subclass 8for onshore or Subclass 3for offshore). You will be on your Temporary Visa until the you get the permanent partner visa (subclass 8or 100). You will usually be eligible to apply for a Permanent Partner visa after years being on the Temporary.
