Graduate work stream

Graduate Work stream. This visa is for international students who have recently graduated with skills and qualifications that are relevant to specific occupations Australia needs. It lets you live, study and work in Australia temporarily.

The Post-study Work stream of the subclass 4visa is for international students with eligible qualifications, regardless of their field of study.

Students need to complete studies at the Bachelor, Masters or Doctorate level which take at least academic years. Your skills and qualifications must also be closely related to an occupation on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). Your eligibility depends on the level of qualification you have completed in Australia, and when you applied for, and were grante your first student visa to Australia. The graduate work stream is for international students who hold an eligible qualification and have graduated with skills and qualifications required for an occupation on the list of eligible skilled occupations.


It is enough to have a diploma level study, as long as you can meet the Skills Assessment criteria.
