Feeling stitchy blogspot

As I began to feel things winding down, I stopped asking for new volunteers, partly because of my hesitance at asking people to volunteer their time for free, and partly because I felt it was time. Feeling Stitchy is a blog about embroidery and everything. This site won’t let us show the description for this page.


A big spool of red ric rac was unfurled and cut so we could take yards home with us to add special touches to things. I thought I would show you some of my other little makes of late, first up is this little needle case.

A cool and cloudy day here in Hoosierville means I get to putter the day away in the Happy Chair with papers, puzzles, and stitchy time.

There are some minor chores to be done, but I can knock those out in a few minutes and then get down to the serious business of doing absolutely nothing. Stitchy adventures in cross-stitch, hand embroidery and fine (thread) crochet! First, I lost a bunch of weight and got glasses. It took me a little over a year and I have kept it off.


I did Day Fix and clean eating. I am running now and my cholesterol levels have gone from 2to 150! It has been such a huge transformation and journey. I love the freedom that embroidery gives you to make any design you want a reality.


Not only did she send me the chart she also sent some DMC to stitch it with.

We have shops all within a minute drive and they all have their own appeal. I will be sharing my shopping, projects, mistakes, successes and travels. In non- stitchy related news, many participated in the first ever Hummingbird Aerobics class that was held on Saturday afternoon.


Ultimately the hummingbird was liberated and the liberators were jubilant. Friend and fellow stitcher Zella celebrated her 82nd birthday. There were no seam ripper incidents or injuries to report.
