By making a few conscious choices in your thinking style and learning to change your thinking you can start to retrain your mind to work better for you in stressful , demanding and challenging situations. Positive favorable thoughts boost your energy, creativity, health and ultimately your happiness. In contrast, negative mental images destabilize you. It is quite clear, therefore, that we must bring about a change in the way we think in order to create happiness and a sense of fulfillment in our life.

The first step to renewing your mind is to take ownership of your own thought life. The truth is that we are powerless to change anything for which we refuse to accept responsibility. Becoming aware of what and how you think is an important first step to developing a new mind that reflects the plans and purposes of God.


Thinking of my own journey on the spiritual path, I have yet to find any summaries. So I’m leaving you to draw your own conclusions from what you read and the order in which you choose to read it. This is not a ‘how-to’ book.


We all have something to be thankful for. Your job is simply to discover those things and give thanks for them.
