Subclass 1Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visa This visa allows skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer in regional Australia, live and work in Australia permanently. Visas are available to individuals who are qualified to work or train in an eligible skilled occupation in Australia and can meet all other requirements.
The RSMS ROL list is a separate list of occupations that applies to the RSMS visa only. To respond to changes in the Australian labour market and regional variations across Australia, the list is reviewed regularly by the Department of Jobs and Small Business. The Regional Occupations List (ROL) is aimed at addressing the needs of regional Australia and is applicable for Subclass 1visa.
